Service Description

As a designer, it is vital to learn how to create a cohesive collection and a sample garment from start to finish. This class will help challenge you and bring out new ideas that you see in fashion. In this 4-week class you will utilize your patternmaking, sewing and sketching skills to design a 5–10-piece collection or capsule. From that collection you will choose one look to create a muslin mockup and then a final design in fashion fabric. I will guide you through your curation of all concept boards, designs, flats and garment production step-by-step. This class cost includes: - Fashion Design book - Foam Core Boards - Muslin - Machine Presser Feet (Industrial) - Rulers - Hip Curve - Awl - Patterning Paper This class is for designers with intermediate to advanced sewing skills. We will be sewing on industrial machines and will meet Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11AM – 3PM. Online classes are available to you and will be uploaded every week. A class syllabus will be provided to you the week before classes begin.
