Service Description
Highlights: This is a 10 session weekly series, 4 hours each Saturday, 40 hours total. -Earning a DDI Issued Incentive Certificate of Completion -Understanding sizing, fitting and patternmaking technology. -Creating, manipulating and adjusting body sloper to different styles and sizes. -Fitting garments and altering patterns -Drafting and pattern making of male or female basic tops, skirt, pants, sleeve and shift dress -Creating Tee Shirt pattern by copying and improving your favorite tee shirt. -Introduction to Technical Package and learn How to Measure garments. Cost: $1600 per student, can be paid in 2 installments Includes a 10 week Designer-In-Residence membership at DDI. Supplies purchase separately with a 10% discount at Ralph's Industrial Sewing. DDI will supply free pattern paper, muslin, woven and knit fabrics for class assignments. Basic sewing skills are necessary, since sewing assignments will be given. The instructor is offering a free 15-minute orientation over the phone. Pay in full online, or you can request to pay in 2 installments. 1st installment will be due no later than September 29.
